Receipts and wool thread

In this work, receipts of an entire month of purchases by a family during the lockdown have been sewn together.

Shopping was the only excuse to escape the home environment and break an extenuating routine.

The repetitive and the circular return in the lists of the various purchases in the receipts, creating an unuseful and unsatisfactory blanket, as the illusory comfort given by an almost mechanical experience remains inadequate.
